Missions & Outreach
From our own region to girls around the world — we support missionaries and ministries through prayer, giving, and hands-on service.
Supporting missionaries near and far
We believe the Gospel is meant to be shared — across our community and around the world. Our church gives faithfully to Southern Baptist missions, supports ministry right here in the Sacramento area, and serves through our Woman's Missionary Union (WMU).
Every prayer, gift, backpack, and stitch makes a real difference in someone's life.
- • Giving through the SBC Cooperative Program and the North American Mission Board
- • Partnering with Downtown Ministries and our local Baptist association
- • Backpacks and clothing for neighbors in need
- • Dress A Girl Around the World, through Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)
Where our missions giving goes
We believe in working alongside others — close to home and across the world — so the Gospel reaches further than any one church could carry it alone.
SBC Cooperative Program
Through the Southern Baptist Convention's Cooperative Program, our giving helps fund missionaries, church planters, and ministry partners across the country and around the world.
North American Mission Board (NAMB)
We support NAMB, which helps start and strengthen churches and share the Gospel across North America.
Sacramento Association of Southern Baptist Churches (SASBC)
We partner with SASBC, working alongside neighboring Baptist churches to reach our region together.
Downtown Ministries
We support Downtown Ministries with financial gifts, and by providing backpacks and clothing for those they serve.
Dress A Girl Around the World
Dress A Girl Around the World is a campaign of Hope 4 Women International, a nondenominational, independent Christian organization. Its dream is a world in which every girl has at least one new dress.
More than a dress, it's a message: that every girl is worthy of respect, and that she is loved by God. Through our Woman's Missionary Union (WMU), our church family takes part in this effort.
Thread to Sew has also given quilts to veterans in the VA hospital and to children.
